Embarking on the iconic Annapurna Round trek was a journey of discovery and awe, beginning with our arrival in the vibrant city of Kathmandu. Day 2 saw us on a scenic drive to Besisahar, where the adventure truly commenced. The diverse landscapes unfolded as we ventured higher, and on Day 3, we drove to Chame at 2650 meters, surrounded by the grandeur of the Annapurna range. The trek gained altitude on Day 4 as we hiked from Chame to Upper Pisang at 3310 meters, immersing ourselves in the rich cultural tapestry of the region. Day 5 led us further to Manang at 3540 meters, where the Himalayan landscapes became increasingly dramatic. To aid acclimatization, Day 6 was dedicated to a breathtaking hike to Milarepa Cave at 4100 meters, providing stunning views of the surrounding peaks.The adventure reached new heights on Day 7 as we trekked to Tilicho Base Camp at 4150 meters. Day 8 brought us to the mesmerizing Tilicho Lake before descending to Shree Kharka at 4080 meters. Navigating through the high-altitude terrain, Day 9 took us from Shree Kharka to Yak Kharka at 4020 meters. As we approached the pinnacle of our trek, Day 10 saw us trekking to Thorong Phedi at 4430 meters, preparing for the challenging Thorong La Pass at 5416 meters on Day 11. The breathtaking views from the pass were a testament to the magnitude of the journey. Descending from the pass, we reached Muktinath at 3710 meters on Day 11, a sacred site nestled amidst the Himalayan splendor. The trek gradually descended on Day 12, leading us to Jomsom at 2740 meters. Day 13 presented us with the option to either fly or drive from Jomsom to Pokhara, providing a choice to savor the landscapes from different perspectives. Finally, on Day 14, we concluded our remarkable journey with a drive or flight back to Kathmandu, reflecting on the diverse landscapes, cultural encounters, and the sense of accomplishment that defined our Annapurna Round trek.
